As active American citizens, our goal is to give people the tools and information they need to make informed decisions about our government. We support democracy and will work to defend it from anything that would take away our rights or freedoms.
The Effort to Defeat Project 2025
For the past several weeks, a volunteer team has taken apart the Mandate for Leadership document, extracting the most critical and alarming policy changes to be enacted should a conservative president take office. The mandate includes calls to return to Trump-era policies that will directly harm – and in some cases call for the death of – members of the American populace. While it is true that Project 2025 does not specifically mention Trump’s re-election, enacting it only requires a conservative president willing to complete the rollbacks while enacting new, harsher policies.
We have created pages on this website to highlight affected communities, ranging from BIPOC and LGBTQ+ persons to students and disabled Americans.
We have yet to find any marginalized community that will not be adversely affected and no exceptions exist.

The Defeat Project 2025 501(c)(3) non-profit organization is overseen by the Executive Director, the Vice President, the Chief Operating Officer, Directors of Research, Director of Development, Director of Engagement, Technology Directors and four additional oversight members.
